This city body reviews matters related to planning and development. We hold monthly public hearings to review land use matters, such as, but not limited to, zoning/rezoning, ordinances, ordinance waivers, land development/use, commercial builds, etc. The commission develops plans and implementation policies that affect how Mayflower manages changes in growth and development. We work in tandem and partnership with the City Council to develop comprehensive policies, procedures, and ordinances to continually improve and grow Mayflower for its citizens. We welcome and encourage all residents of, and parties interested in, Mayflower to join us for meetings and offer input into issues before the commission.

As the PC welcomes new members, we wish to offer our heartfelt Thank You to members who are rotating off. Their years of dedication, participation, leadership, and knowledge is greatly appreciated! Commissioner James Oliver (12.5 years), and Commissioner Sammy Reynolds (8 years). The Commission is also grateful these members have offered to consult when asked and share their vast institutional knowledge going forward.
