Whole Council meetings are generally held the last Tuesday of the month at 7pm. The Workshops are generally on the second Thursday of the month at 6pm. However, dates are subject to change. You can always check the city calendar for dates as well as the separate meeting schedule for the City Council. All meetings are held at City Hall at 5 Ashmore Dr.
Absolutely! Not only is it the law for these meetings to be open to the public, but as city leadership, we want and encourage all Mayflower residents and stakeholders to participate in city government meetings. Please feel free to join us and offer any input into issues facing the Council. We are a stronger community when everyone is engaged.
Come in casual dress and be comfortable. As the meetings are in City Hall, weapons are not permitted with the exception of active law enforcement.
We ask that all feedback be given and questions asked one at a time and from the podium with the microphone. This maintains an ordered and respectful decorum while ensuring all participants clearly hear the feedback or question posed to the Council.
Yes, members of law enforcement are present to provide reports, submit updates, submit requests, and to ensure a safe environment for all participants and visitors.
