Led by Mayor Hester, the City Council is responsible for the governance of the city. This includes, but is not limited to, approving/modifying the annual city budget, passing new ordinances/laws, updating zoning laws, oversight of city departments & offices, writing grants for project funding, approving contracts for city work, reviewing and passing city revenue streams, and more.
